Windows Phone owners finally are able to get their hands on the Skype app starting today in a beta version. The app allows WP7 users to make audio/video calls w/ Skype contacts over 3G, 4G, or Wi-Fi as well as calls to landlines and other mobiles. At the current time, Skype for Windows Phone 7 works on devices running WP 7.5 as it is only available for the Focus S, Focus Flash, Lumia 710/800, Radar, and the Titan. Since the app is in beta, it only support English but the full version is expected to launch sometime in April. The company made sure to take advantage of Microsoft’s mobile OS’ Metro UI as the app uses it to the fullest as you can see in the demo video below.
