Looks like T-Mobile must have gotten some great pieces of spectrum from the failed AT&T merger as their parent company, Deutsche Telekom, revealed that the number four carrier will launch their LTE network sometime next year. T-Mobile acquired $4 billion from AT&T ($3 billion in cash & $1 billion in spectrum) as this looks to contribute to the carrier’s ability to offer the high-speed network. Again T-Mobile is tardy to the party as they were the last carrier to offer 3G, the last to offer something faster (HSPA+ while everyone else offers LTE), and if they ever get the iPhone will add another to their list.
