Earlier today Verizon announced the official launch availability for the latest in the Galaxy Tab series. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 offers the same sleek & thin design as the Tab 8.9/10.1 but has a Super AMOLED Plus display w/ 1280 x 800 resolution and 1.4GHz dual-core processor. The other specs are the same as the others with 1GB of RAM, dual cameras (2MP in front & 3MP in back), 16GB on-board storage, and running Android 3.2 w/ TouchWiz UX. Starting on March 1st, consumers can pick up the 4G LTE Tab 7.7 for $499.99 on contract. After Apple’s announcement, this has just become a tough sale.
