A photographer, Alexander Wild, over at the Scientific American have a found a cool way to turn your iPhone camera into a microscope or macro lens without buying an accessory. All you have to do is add a drop of water and carefully turn over your phone and the suspended drop will act as a liquid lens. The liquid lens will magnify anything seen with a good amount of resolution but will eventually evaporate as your magnification will decrease. It is imperative to be very careful when trying this out as you know water and electronics are not the best of friends.
