Microsoft added yet another app to its media arsenal on the Xbox 360 with the Amazon Instant Video app. Like any other service, you need a subscription to Amazon Prime and the Xbox Live Gold to access it. Prime will cost you $79 for one-year as along with the over 17,000 movies & TV shows available, you also get free two-day shipping on anything you order from Amazon. The app offers Kinect voice/gesture navigation along with a Watchlist that acts a queue for what to watch next & Whipersync that allows you to start watching media on your Xbox and finish it on your Kindle Fire or computer. Before this app became available, you have to do a workaround to access Amazon’s video service on your Xbox. Hit the Apps section on your dashboard to give it a whirl.
