According to the sources over at The Verge, Microsoft is planning to do something radical next week.  Expect to see a Xbox 4GB console w/ Kinect for $99 down and $15 monthly fee for two years at Microsoft Stores within the US.  The two-year payment plans is said to come equipped with Xbox Live Gold subscription, possibly some content from cable/sports providers, and a two-year warranty.  Just like any other two-year contract, the customer will be subjected to an early termination fee as well.   The Verge did the math comparing buying the bundle upfront w/ two-years of Live ($420) vs the two-year plan ($459) and its only a $30 difference.   Microsoft has been offering deal after deal to get their console in as many houses as possible.
