On day two of Google I/O, the search giant also announced some favorites now available for iOS.    Starting today iPhone & the iPad can now enjoy the Google’s famed Chrome browser and the Google Drive.  Google just keeps on giving the goodness.  Details on both lie below.

Chrome requires you to run iOS 4.3 or higher but gives all of the goodness the browser offers on Android.   You have the option of Chrome sync to have access to the same bookmarks you have on your Chrome desktop.  You can open unlimited tabs as well do private browsing with incognito mode.  With my brief time with it, it is stable and works just the app for Android.  Nice!

Now onto Google Drive for iOS.  The Drive iOS app works similar to the desktop where you can access/edit files online or offline, share files with collaborators, syncs the same files from your desktop, and star important files.   Unfortunately you cannot delete your files from the app but hopefully it can be rectified within future updates.  For what you would need it for, it works as advertised.

Both apps are free and are available as we speak.   Interested iOS users should give them a try.
