With rumors running rampant that Apple moving to ditch Google Maps as their mapping service in iOS 6, Google is looking to offer more for your maps/navigation services. On June 6th, the house of Android is planning to do just that. Press invites went out titled, “The Next Dimension Of Google Maps” in hopes of beating Apple to the punch as the event kicks off just days before Apple’s WWDC. We’re expecting to see some 3D along with some of Google Earth’s features but check back with us around 1PMish.
