According to sources close to the Business Insider, among the many plans Google will unveil at this year’s Google I/O event later this month: expect the first Nexus tablet to one of them. We already know that Google will sell their Nexus tablets directly online like they recently started doing with the GSM-version of the Galaxy Nexus. We already know that the price could range from below $200 to $300.
But what we didn’t know is that Google plans to offer digital magazine subscriptions along with the new tablet. Google already has several major magazine publishers on-board to be ready at launch. Now that Android now supports in-app subscriptions, this service can be achieved with less hassle on their part. Google’s I/O conference starts on June 27th so expect to hear plenty of new features coming to Google and Android.
