Early this morning Canon unveiled their latest addition to the EOS line of cameras with the new M camera. The EOS M is the company’s first mirror-less digital camera to compete with the likes of Sony’s NEX, Nikon’s 1, & Olympus’ Pen series. The new M is armed with a 18MP CMOS sensor, powered by Canon’s DIGIC 5 processor, with an ISO range from 100-6400 for videos/100-12800 for photos, built-in microphone for stereo recording, take photos while recording video, recording HD videos in 1080p at 30 fps, armed with a f/2 22mm lens on a 3inch LCD touchscreen display.
Canon made sure to put their finest technology last seen within Rebel T4i with the M shooter. Which is great for consumers. The EOS M camera is scheduled for an October launch priced at $799.99 along with several other interchangeable lens and accessories like GPS-sensors & a speedlite. I personally love the added manual controls on these smaller shooter. Keep them coming.
