For anyone who were on the fence to pre-order the Nexus 7, you reservations may be rewarded sometime this fall. Bloomberg reports that Apple is serious in claiming the tablet market by readying their smaller iPad in October. The iPad mini would sports a 7 or 8inch display w/ 1024 x 768 resolution and would offer a $199 or $249 price tag depending on storage sizes.
Unfortunately consumers wouldn’t get the Retina Display the latest iPad has, not at that low of a price point. This would crush any Android tablet’s chances of denting Apple’s hold of the tablet market share. Hopefully the Nexus 7 can make its $$$ before this thing comes out. If this even comes out. Thankfully October isn’t that far away to wait.
