These leaks of these upcoming devices just keep rolling out. All Things D was just tipped off on Amazon’s second Kindle Fire, time of launch, & goodies coming along with it. Due out sometime within the 3rd quarter, the newer Fire is said to be thinner & lighter and stepping up its specs to combat its competitors.
Like an improved display w/ higher aspect ratio and 1280 x 800 resolution compared to the 1024 x 680 on the original. Also coming is a faster (much-needed) processor, better graphics handling, and a revamp of its customized Android OS.
Looks like Amazon is redoing their tablet in an attempt to establish some dominance within the 7inch tablet market. Amazon knows that content & pricing is key to winning. It may out do the Nexus 7 do to content but if this iPad mini comes to light, they are screwed.
