Verizon has managed to reintroduce their Droid Incredibleline up with their Droid Incredible 4G LTE. HTC and Verizon has revamped the Incredible in a sleek new body with afaster and more viable processor similar to what is used in HTC’s currentdevices (the One Series).  We have gonethrough with our review and have decided on the fate of the Incredible for you.Let’s dig in to see how “incredible” this little Droid is.

The Droid Incredible has been one of the most favorableAndroid devices since it’s initial arrival in 2010. It was an instant fan favorite in the Android Community and lived up toit’s hype of being an ”incredible” device. The Droid Incredible 2 did notexactly live up to the report of it’s originator, let’s hope that the newgeneration DI3 does better this time around.
Performance/Battery Life

The Droid Incredible 3 has been through an overhaul of sortswith it’s new S4 dual core processor with a 1.2 Ghz and 1 GB of ram. It has anexpandable SD card port up to 32 GB (sold separately) and has 8GB on board fora total of up to 40GB.  On top of that isthe new HTC Sense 4.0 which allows for some easier navigation and sharinginformation through your phone and apps. The new Sense 4.0 allows for less clutter and more freedom throughpersonal customizations.  The Incredible also boast the new media link (three finger swipe ability) to instantly connect your device with any television that uses the Media Link HD connection (sold separately) to have your television mirror your device.
The battery has been given longer life with respect due to the new S4processor.  Expect a day’s use out ofthis device and this was with very moderate usage.  I am talking about YouTube, web browsing, andiHeart radio on top of Facebook, emails, text messages and phone calls.  You can do a lot before needing to charge upagain but don’t push to hard. An extended battery is optional but the stockbattery may do you just fine.

“The Incredible is easily one of the best devices for someone looking to start out with a smartphone and get to experience lightning fast capabilities.”

Display/Camera

The DI3 sports a 4-inch screen. It is a colorful screen butat times it doesn’t look as bright as I would like to see.  It has qHD quality and though it is similar toHD it just felt a little off.

Equipped with an 8-megapixel camera on the rear for takingpictures and recording HD videos.  Thenew processor allows for very little lag when capturing those specialmoments.  You have an option of multi-shots that allow you to take 20 photos very quickly, under a minute to beexact.  There is also a VGA on the frontof the device for all of your video chatting and self-portrait needs.

Sound Quality/Appearance

The Incredible is readily equipped with the Beats by Dresoftware to get you Beats quality from all of your music apps and videosources.  You can even listen to yourgames in Beats quality, just make sure you are using the Beats headphone to getthe best sound quality offered with the software in the Incredible 3.
The sleek design is similar to the two Droid Incredibles before and it stills sports the red and black color scheme. The body of the device is very comfortable in hand due to the compact design and smaller screen. The battery is thinner also which keeps the device thinner than previous models, yet very powerful.  It has two physical keys one on the side (volume rocker) and one on the top (power button).

TechGuys Two Cents

The Droid Incredible has a lot to offer, just not incomparison to the latest HTC line up. The One series, which the Incredible is technically not part of, hasmore to showcase especially with the newer S4 processor in place.  The 1.2 GHz ram was a step down from the 1.5GHz that the One Series was given.  Ilike the Incredible 3 and it’s quickness, but there were many drawbacks.  As an avid user of my smartphone I would wantthe Incredible to be more useful and flexible with heavy usage.  It simply does not do this for me.  The Incredible cannot be compared to thesmartphones that are reigning in today’s world of iPhones, Galaxy S3s, or eventhe One X.  It is definitely more of amid level device in comparison.  TheIncredible is easily one of the best devices for someone looking to start outwith a smartphone and get to experience lightning fast capabilities.  Someone that will not over work the device.
To Buy or Not To Buy

If you are interested in the Android device market and haveno previous experience with the hardware, take a look at the Droid Incredible3. It is a super sexy, slim phone and a stylish black design accent with red.  It isn’t bulky or heavy and feels verycomfortable.  If these are things thatcompel you then buy it.  With a price tagof $149.99 (with a $50 rebate) on Verizon’s 4G LTE you can get a super fastsmartphone that looks great in any room. If you are looking to compete with the big boys and compare features youwill get by for a little bit but the Incredible 3 will not outperform the majorplayers.  If you are not looking for arebate you can still spend the $199.99 and consider the S3 or hell the GalaxyNexus, it ships with Jellybean, the latest OS for Android.  Enjoy the video and tell us what you think.
