Earlier this morning, Amazon announced its Instant Video app now available for the iPad. The Amazon app allows iPad users to enjoy its content of over 120,000 videos along with all of the features other consumers use on streaming boxes/game consoles like download for offline viewing and Prime streaming Amazon Prime members. The app works hand-in-hand with other players where you can start watching content on your iPad on the go and pick up where you left off using the app at home via Xbox or PS3 (for example). The app has yet to arrive for the iPhone/iPod Touch but I’m sure it is on the way.
