Last night, several news sites put together mockups of what we can expect the smaller iPad mini could look like. The end result was wider iPod Touch rather than a smaller iPad design-wise. The widescreen display w/ 4:3 aspect ratio looks to have a smaller bezel on the sides breaking the mold of the current iPad designs. Consumers should expect a front-facing camera but nothing concrete on a rear-facing shooter or LTE on-board as of yet.

The iPad mini is rumored to have a 7.85inch (non-retina) w/ 1024 x 768 resolution armed with a $200-299 price tag. Rumors have the announcement happening next month with a launch around or just before November. What it will look like, it will be hard to keep in stock.
As an extra tidbit, Apple blogger John Gruber tossed around the idea of the name being the iPad Air since it will be smaller, thinner, & lighter. What do you guys think? Are you buying one? I know I am.
