A few weeks ago Sprint unveiled their latest Android-powered, LTE QWERTY-slider made by Motorola dubbed the Photon Q.  Today the carrier announced the official launch details and pricing for the upcoming device.   Due out this Sunday, August 19th, the Photon Q 4G LTE will cost you $199.99 on contract with pre-orders kicking off today.

The Photon Q is equipped with a 5-row QWERTY keyboard, powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, dual camera, NFC support, Motorola’s Smart Actions on board, sports a 4.3inch ColorBoost display that is scratch-resistant + has a Splash Guard coating over the body.  Anyone on the hunt for a more modern QWERTY Android device, Sunday is now your day.
