TechGuys were front and center at the Nokia release event in NYC and we have hands on of the newly announced Nokia Lumia 820 and Lumia 920.  With great talks of having the “Purest” display quality can it truly be the “pure” work of genius that we have been waiting for from Nokia?

Nokia has decided to throw a huge party to help announce their Lumia line up.  Although there wasn’t much to discuss as far as carriers, release date or even pricing, Nokia had a lot to showcase as far as accessories and the quality behind their phones.  They showed off the new Nokia Music and with new partnerships with accessory company such as Monster, JBL, and fatboy, Nokia is expecting to win over the market with fundamental and fairly useful acccessories.  At the party was JBL’s NFC speakers to compliment your Lumia as well as charging docks.

Both the speakers and docks are using the latest NFC technology to help unclutter our lives and devices.  The Lumias , respectively both run the latest Windows 8 software and keeps all of the key components of Nokia and their software.  Nokia Maps, and Drive have slight updates where the new Nokia Music App is evident and secure on these devices.

Also keep in mind key difference with each device, the 820 has a smaller size and interchangeable backings.  The Lumia 920 doesn’t offer interchangeable backs but does have a built in wireless charging plate.  If you needed one for your Lumia 820 you would have to buy it separately within one of the many interchangeable backs.
