Along with announcing their Q3 earnings today, Google unveiled a new Chromebook by Samsung coming as soon as Monday. The new Chromebook offers an 11.6inch display w/ 1366 x 768, powered by a dual-core Exynos processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage via SSD, 2 USB ports, SD card slot, HDMI port, Bluetooth 3.0, VGA front-facing camera, and a suggested battery life of over 6.5 hours. Not to be confused with the slower earlier Chromebooks, this one has power behind it. Capable of running 1080p HD video at 30fps, supports 100GB of free cloud storage via Google Drive and equipped with a laptop version of Google Now, this is your modern Chromebook.

Launching at various electronic retailers on Monday for a very attractive price point of $249, I may have to pick one up for myself.
