Earlier today HTC and Verizon made the DLX official today as the DROID DNA.  Like we said previously, HTC definitely made up to VZW subscribers by not offering any of the One series previously.  The Droid DNA is the carrier’s new Android ‘superphone’.

The DNA offers a 5inch 1080p HD Super LCD 3 display w/ 440 ppi, powered by a quad-core 1.5GHz S4 Pro processor, running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean w/ Sense 4+, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, NFC, Beats Audio w/ two built-in amps inside, a f/2.0 28mm wide-angle 8MP rear-facing lens, a f/2.0, 88-degree, wide-angle front-facing 2.1MP lens, and a 2020 mAh battery.

The DNA will become available next week for $199.99 on contract and can be reserved starting today online at Verizon.  Expect to see a hands-on with the lightweight, fast device with a superb display shortly.
