Press announcements, pre-orders, & such are over.  Today is the day where you can bring your Wii U home.    This the company’s 2nd-generation, motion-sensing game system continuing the efforts from the successful Wii console that launched back in 2006.  The Wii U offers HD graphics, faster processors, a new tablet-like GamePad that allows a new way to play/interact with games & players, and support for Wii games/controllers.

Arriving in an 8GB basic set for $299.99 and the 32GB deluxe set for $349.99, but we recommend the Deluxe set for those planning on picking one up.  For those of who wanted to actually demo it before buying, the Wii U is up at Nintendo’s NYC store as well as most GameStop location.  The Wii U is available at various retailers, you can hit the link below to find out where.
