Back in July Google acquired iOS email app Sparrow, today they unveiled v2.0 of their iOS Gmail app. This new update easily makes up for the joke that the Gmail app on iOS previously. The new Gmail app now offers a new minimal look, multiple account support, infinite scrolling, predictive text ability while searching, Google+ post support, and the ability to reply to Google Calendar invites.There are conflicting reports to whether or not the Sparrow team had any involvement in the newest update. Whatever the case, it is a great email app for anyone looking for an alternative to the default Mail app or those who didn’t pick up the Sparrow app. I downloaded it on my iPhone and iPad and my initial thoughts are : Thumbs up.
