Just in time for those travelling to the city for New year’s Eve, MTA recently released an app to help iPhone owners keep train schedules. Called MTA Subway Time, keeps you up-to-date with train arrivals, service delays and reroutes in real-time. But unfortunately, the app only helps you keep up with the 1-6 trains along with the 42nd Street shuttle and is not optimized for the iPhone 5’s display.
Hopefully this app will improve in performance and navigation in the very near future. But in the meantime here you do have a limited experience to get you started but can be beneficially to those who regularly take the train lines it follows.
