Samsung announced two additions to their high-end Series 7 PC notebook s earlier this week. One is the Chronos and the other is the Ultra. Both running Windows 8 and equipped with a touchscreen display for users to take full advantage of it.

The Chronos is your standard, high performance notebook. As it offers a 15.6inch full HD (1920 x 1080) touchscreen display, powered by a 2.4GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor, 4 or 8GB of RAM that’s upgradeable to 16GB, 1TB HD, an AMD Radeon HD 2GB graphics card, quoted an 11-hour battery life, a 720p HD webcam, JBL stereo speakers, and an array of ports like 2 USB 2.0+ 2 USB 3.0, HDMI out, headphone, mic, + VGA. The Chronos weighs in at a little over 5 lbs and boots up in under 12 seconds.
The Ultra is your high performance Ultrabook. Samsung packed just as much in this as the Chronos. As you have a 13.3 inch full HD touchscreen display, powered by a dual-core Intel Core i5 or i7 processor, up to 16GB of RAM, 256GB SSD, an AMD HD 1GB graphics card, quoted an 8-hour battery life, a 720p HD webcam, JBL stereo speakers, and ports like 1 USB 3.0, 2 USB 2.0, HDMI out, mini VGA, headphone + mic. The Ultra weighs in at over 3 lbs and can connect online via 4G LTE in the future.
