Formerly leaked as the M7, HTC makes their new flagship Android smartphone official.  Meet the HTC One, not the One X or the One X+, but the new standard in Android smartphones.  The HTC One will make you forget about the competition with its robust, new features and abilities.

The One is equipped with a 4.7inch Super LCD 3 1080p HD display + 468ppi, powered by Qualcomm’s latest 1.7GHz quad-core 600 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, running Android 4.1.2 w/ Sense 5 UX, DLNA, Bluetooth 4,0, NFC, and 2300 mAh battery.  But HTC wasn’t done, they beefed up their abilities of Sense, beats, and their camera even better.

New to Sense 5 is HTC BlinkFeed is like Flipboard of content directly on your homescreen with live feeds from over 1,400 content partners like ESPN, Associated Press, Facebook, and AOL sites to name a few.  The One offers a front-facing, dual stereo speakers w/ built-in amplifiers called BoomSound and SenseVoice is dual microphones that dynamic in-call volume adjustments for a great audio experience.  Beats Audio is also present as well.  SenseTV gives the One an infrared blaster built-in to turn your smartphone into a universal remote control.

HTC definitely did some innovative things with the shooters on the One.  In front you still have the f/2.0 aperture, 28mm wide-angle lens that can record in 1080p HD.   The biggest deal is on the back where HTC no longer uses MP to define its abilities.  They have an ‘Ultrapixel’ lens that layers several lenses to create a brilliant low-light photo w/ great clarity.  Their new shooter offer Nokia’s PureView some popular competition.

Expect the HTC One to make its way in late-March in Black or Silver colors.  Subscribers on AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile will be excited.  We’re off to get some hands-on time with one.  Check back for a quick 2 cents and video later today.
