Yup! You read the headline correctly. You now have to wait a full 24-months rather than the previous 20-months for a full device upgrade. It’s only 4 extra months but for subscribers who enjoyed the (now extinct) 12-month upgrades and now having to endure this are probably upset. The good news is that it only effects subscribers who contracts end after January 2014. You still have the option of buying a phone at full retail pricing to avoid the whole upgrading process.
