Yesterday we told you about the next Batman game on its in October, now we have some screenshots and a bit more details on the game itself. We told you that eight of the best assassins in the world have come to Gotham City for one night, Christmas Eve of all nights, to kill the Bat. Now we know Black Mask is the one who put the hit out on Batman along with some crooked cops within the GCPD.
The game retains the open environment as in Arkham City as the map size will have doubled (Yes!!!). The map is split up between Old & New Gotham with taller skyscrapers to jump off & glide from. You still will have the Crimes In Progress side missions which are optional as well as tango with other DC villains that aren’t important to the story with the Most Wanted missions. More screenshots lie below.
Think of this prequel like Year One while still sticking to the Arkham game theme.
Batman: Arkham Origins will become available for PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, & the PS Vita on October 25th.
