Looks like Sprint will be joining T-Mobile in delaying the launch of their Samsung Galaxy S4.  The #3 carrier is also citing an inventory shortage from Samsung which left them no choice but the delay their full-scale launch of the GS4.  However, interested Sprint subscribers can still order their online on the 27th.  The carrier will announce when their in-store shipments will become available.  Sprint’s official statement obtained by AllThingsD lies below:

“We had planned to launch this next generation of the award-winning Samsung Galaxy line-up on Saturday, April 27,” Sprint said in a statement. “Unfortunately, due to unexpected inventory challenges from Samsung, we will be slightly delayed with our full product launch.”

This actually leaves AT&T as the only place to pick up a GS4 this week, online and in-stores.
