Earlier today, Motorola CEO Dennis Woodside attended D11: AllThingsD 2013 conference and openly spoke about the once previously-rumored and now officially official X Phone. Woodside confirms the X Phone to be the company’s new ‘hero’ device and will be making its way to consumers’ hands very soon.
Woodside confirmed an OLED display on-board and will focus more on sensors. For example: the device will know when it s in your pocket to go in standby, it will know when its in your hands and you want to fire up the cameras, and know when your are in a car. It will adapt to different situations to anticipate your needs. Interesting approach, Motorola. Here’s what we know thus far about Moto’s new flagship.
Also, the X Phone will be assembled entirely within the US and set to launch sometime towards the end of summer on multiple major carriers. Not yet known on which ones.
