Microsoft wanted to show that their next-gen console won’t alienate Xbox 360 owners.  The Redmond company decided to update the look of the console once again to provide a smaller and quieter version of the Xbox 360.  Microsoft is committed to continue support for the 360 for months and years to come as on July 1st, Xbox Live Gold users will receive two free game downloads.  The new console will become available starting today.
Also, as seen on Twitter, gamers can expect the next-gen Xbox One to hit the stores sometime in November with a $500 price tag.  Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Microsoft Store, Toys R Us & Walmart are accepting pre-orders right now!
