Earlier this morning, Samsung made the 3rd-generation Galaxy Tab series official.  This time arriving in an 8inch and 10.1inch form factor along with the 7inch size.  On the software side of things, both tablets are the same as they both run Android 4.2.2 w/ TouchWiz.  The hardware specs is where the two will mostly differ.  We got more details on the specs past the break.

The 8inch retains the same portrait stylings as the Note 8.0 but offers a 1.5GHz Exynos dual-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB or 32GB of storage, 8inch display w/ 1280 x 800 resolution + 185ppi, dual cameras (1.3MP in front + 5MP in the back), and a 4450 mAh battery.

While the 10.1inch stick the landscape viewings to offer a 1.6GHz Intel dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB or 32GB of storage,a 10.1inch display w/ 1280 x 800 + 149ppi, dual cameras ( 1.3MP in front + 3MP int he back), and a 6800 mAh battery.

Both tablets offer a microSD slot that supports up to 64GB of storage, infrared sensor for universal remote control support, and Wi-Fi 2.4+ 5GHz along with Wi-Fi Direct.  Both tablets are scheduled for a June launch but not word on pricing as of yet.
