I know many of you were bummed out when they found out that the HTC One wasn’t running the latest version of Android (v4.1.2) and the Galaxy S4 was. There were certain features I would have loved to see added to Sense 5 that accompanies Android 4.2.2. We know that HTC is hard at work to implement the latest version to work with Sense 5 but the folks over at Android Revolution HD may have the scoop on what new changes we can expect.
- Battery icon percentage can now be toggled.
- The ability to remove icons from the dock and more editing to the app drawer.
- The ability to long press the home button and bring up the menu. This will trigger Google Now to a swipe up from the home button just like on stock Android
- Extended quick settings, for easy access to all your settings from the notification shade.
- The Daydream screensaver feature is also included.
No telling when we shall see this or if this will update will be released before Google rolls out Android 4.3? We’ll keep you posted as more details on the matter comes into fruition.
