With the many rumblings of what many are expecting form Apple this fall (iOS 7 + iPhone 5S), there has also been talk of the company cheaper version of the iPhone.  The budget-friendly iPhone is said to launch in a variety of colors w/ a price tag ranging from $99 to $149 (no word as of yet on whether this pricing would contract-free or not).

Looks like the return of the plastic iPhone.

As you can see from the images, it would offer a polycarbonate shell (like the Nokia Lumias) with a design style of the iPad mini w/ rounded curves.  It will offer the same 4inch display + 1136 x 640 resolution as the iPhone 5.  You also have the headphone jack on the bottom as well.  The rear shell is said to arrive in a variety of colors: Blue, Green, White, Yellow, Magenta, & more.  The site Techdy got a hold of the shell and put a video together of it that you can see below.
