Lo and behold! What do we have here? It appears to be the next-generation nexus 7 tablet courtesy of Android Central. Earlier today, the site was tipped off with images, video, & specs of one of the more favorite Android tablets. This leak comes suspiciously after Google announced a press event next week on the 24th w/ the head of Chrome + Android, Sundar Pichai.
Here’s what to expect from the new Nexus 7:
- 7inch LCD display (1920 x 1200 resolution)
- powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor (the original has NVIDIA’s quad-core Tegra 3)
- dual cameras (1.2MP in front + 5MP on the rear)
- 2GB of RAM and coming in 16GB ($229) & 32GB ($269) storage sizes.
No word on the refreshed tablet having calling capabilities in case some of you were wondering.
