In one of the things Microsoft forgot to mention about the abilities on the next-gen Xbox, the new Kinect has a neat new trick of its sleeve. The new optics on the next-gen Kinect will allow gamers to scan QR codes for digital games/content to the Xbox One. Xbox executive Marc Whitten took to Twitter to confirm the news as we can actually expect more features to become unveiled as Microsoft gets closer to launch. So long, typing in lengthy cryptic codes with your controller. That is still an option but who would want to after hearing about this.
