Last time we spoke about the upcoming iPhone 5S, we talked about faster internals along with a possible fingerprint scanner and the same body.  New reports would suggest some new options coming along with the 6th iteration of the iPhone due to be announced on September 10th.  Also additional details on the specs have been revealed as well.

The iPhone 5S – now w/ fingerprint scanner, 128GB, & solid Gold color.

The internals on i5S seem to be more clarified w/ new reports from KGI analyst Mingchi Kuo.  The new custom-built 64-bit A7 dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, a sapphire Home button w/ finger print scanner, and a f/2.0 aperture 8MP rear-facing camera + dual LED flash.
The newest reveal about the iPhone 5S is the new color option of Gold.  Joining the standard Black & White, Gold is said to be the 1st time a 3rd color option is available.  And just as Apple did w/ the iPad, they may bring the 128GB storage option to the new iPhone as well.  Even though that would satisfy those who run out of storage quickly,  the 128GB option will be a pricey one (Note: the 128GB iPad is priced at $799 for the Wi-Fi only version + $929 for the LTE model).

Update:

TechCrunch‘s MG Siegler confirms the Gold color as it is coming.   But don’t expect it to be a Yellowish but more so a Champagne color.  To better match the tone of the Slate (Black) color.
