Introducing Simple, your new online banking solution w/ apps and a Visa ATM card that works anywhere. One might ask: don’t we already have something like with ING Direct (now Capital One 360)? Yes and no. Simple does offer a lot more than just transferring funds and photo-based check deposits. More on what makes this so different below.
Simple is free of fees (ATM or other) as you can use direct deposit, pay bills, earn interest and budget better to save more. Other than direct deposit, you can put $$$ in your account by taking a photo of your check, cashier’s check, money order, etc. Simple transfers your funds to The Bancorp bank which FDIC-insured. Back to ATMs, the service uses Allpoint’s 50,000 ATMs at your disposal to help avoid fees. You can link your Simple account w/ Paypal or Mint for those of you with accounts there.
Simple’s app work for both Android and the iPhone. The OS requirements for Android is a minimum of 2.3.3 and for the iPhone its iOS 5. If you are interested, hit the link below to request an invite or if you know someone that is using it, they can send you one.
