Introducing a new way to communicate with people w/ Ping: your email. reimagined.  Ping is an email thats focuses on conversations.  It touts many features seen on other email apps like push notifications, separate email tabs, snoozing, and threaded conversations but focuses on the last part.  In a way it meshes emails and messaging together in one app – just as long as both parties have the Ping app.

Ping: Part Mailbox, Part Gmail,Part Google Hangouts.  But all email.
Ping supports Gmail, AOL, Yahoo! and iCloud email accounts (sorry Hotmail users).  You can also create custom notification alerts based on your contact which is an always welcomed option in email.  Also thew contact list isn’t in alphabetical order but in the order of who it thinks you  will email first.  Did I mention voice + video calls from Ping?  Yeah, it can do that too.

This is an interesting take on email I can’t wait to give it a shot when it becomes available.  Especially if it can replace Mailbox as my go-to email app on the iPhone.  Ping is set to launch for the iPhone on September 18th, hit the link below the video to reserve your space for access.

You can sign up for it here.
