Earlier today, Xbox gave us some insight on what the game DVR & their entire upload studio on the upcoming One system. The Game DVR allows you to record the last 5 minutes of gameplay or a quick 30 seconds of footage. From there, you can take your clips to the Upload Studio. There you can edit multiple clips together, trim clips down or add picture-in-picture video and voiceovers.
Finished videos can be uploaded to Xbox Live and will be shown on your activity feed. All of your work is saved on SkyDrive as 720p MP4 clips that can be share on Windows PCs, smartphones, & tablets. No word on the amount of storage space given at launch.
