After the rumors of its existence, Google has announced the Google Play Edition of the LG G Pad. It’s the same great 8.3inch device w/ 1920 x 1200 resolution as before, just now it comes with Stock Android 4.4 (KitKat). It’s powered by a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 CPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage expandable via microSD card, dual cameras (1.3MP in front + 5MP on the back) and a 4600 mAh battery.
This is the second new GPE today. Sony also gave one of their devices the GPE treatment as well. If you were looking for a something bigger than the Nexus 7 and/or wanted a Nexus tablet with SD storage, this is for you! It will cost you a bit more at $349 though.
