Today’s the day! If you are one of the people who have been patiently (or impatiently) waiting for Motorola to release the wood backs, the day has finally come. On their blog earlier this afternoon, Motorola announced bamboo backs that are available today in limited quantity.
You can head over to Motomaker to customize a Moto X with the bamboo back for an additional $100 and it will be delivered to you after the first of the year. There is no word on the other wood backs that we saw earlier this year at the Moto X event though. Motorola already has a set of FAQ’s available that will answer most peoples questions about ordering a Bamboo Moto X, especially if you just ordered one from the holiday sale. Definitely swing by and check it out if you’re thinking about getting one.
