On Friday, Apple celebrated 30 years of the Mac and shared w/ everyone on Apple’s homepage.  The Macintosh represents the beginning of Apple as a company and decade of innovative technology.  The original Mac launched on January 24th, 1984 as an all-in-one desktop.  Sporting a 9inch 512 x 384 resolution display, 128KB of memory, 3.5inch floppy disk, and a Motorola 68000 CPU.


With a commercial during the ’84 Super Bowl to promote it, it was beginning of Apple.  The 1st Macs got their start in schools and for desktop publishing and fast-forward to the present w/ iMac, MacBook Pro, Airs, & Retina Macs, and the newly announced, cylinder-shaped Mac Pro.
