Sony appears to be done with the NEX line – at least in regards to the name anyways.  Meet the A5000: the future of the NEX series.  The mirrorless shooter is modeled after the NEX-3 (16,000 ISO, 1080p video, built-in flash, 180-degree tilting display) but w/ a 20.1MP APS-C Exmor sensor.   You also have built-in NFC + Wi-Fi connectivity as well.  Also different is the interface which is more like the one on the A7/7r.

The A5000 will ship in March w/ a 16-50mm power-zoom lens for $600.  So who’s picking one up?
