Today, Verizon announced the launch of their LTE version of the Nexus 7 tablet by Google. The carrier will be offering the Black 32GB model for $349.99 in-stores + online. You also have the option to buy for $249.99 on contract as well for a limited time.
The specs remain the same w/ the beautiful 7inch 1080p display, quad-core CPU, and running the latest version of Android: 4.4 Kit Kat. For those of you who have already purchased the 2013 Nexus 7, you’ll soon have access to Verizon’s LTE network thanks to an incoming software update. It seems like Google + Verizon haven’t been seeing eye-to-eye since the botched launch of the Galaxy Nexus device back in 2011.
Does this mean we could possibly see an LTE version of the Nexus 5 as well? Its only wishful thinking as time will tell.
