Along w/ Cortana, the next big Windows Phone update is getting some more additions to the OS. Earlier this morning, more details were revealed on what’s coming to the next big WP 8.1 update as Microsoft is finally adding a good notification system to the platform. A little late but necessary.

The notification center will be called the ‘Action Center’ – where you can enable/disable Airplane Mode, Bluetooth, Driving Mode, and Wi-Fi. Also, you get quick access to your settings along w/ the ability to silently add, update, or delete notifications as well as splitting volume controls for ringer / notifications and media / apps in the upcoming update.
WP users can expect to see the update sometime after after April.
