There has been quite the rumblings over the Internet this weekend that following HTC’s upcoming event, the phone will go on sale immediately following it. Regardless of which carrier get it that day, it would be quite the unprecedented event as no other manufacturers have ever launched a device on the same day as their announcement. According to the promo sign above, it looks like VZW is a definite shoe-in-to offer the device at 1PM EST as the event kicks off at 11AM EST.
There are several conflicting rumors that it will become available on all major carriers and others that suggest that Verizon will be the exclusive launch partner of the device for a few weeks. If the latter happens, it would be fitting as Verizon was the last carrier to get last year’s model.
Also, AT&T announced on Twitter on Friday evening that they will be giving away a new HTC device. For 5 days (March 21st-25th), they will be giving away one device a day. With the 25th being on the launch day, its safe to say that Verizon won’t be the only carrier to offer it on Tuesday.
