Just another day, another one of many leaks for the forthcoming HTC One 2014 edition. While it seems like everything about the device has been exposed except for the dual cameras – until now. GSM Arena got the exclusive on what to expect from the new camera Ultrapixel camera system. More details below.
According to the ad, the new camera will be called Duo Camera. It will offer low-light capabilities and allow you to select the focus of a shot after you’ve taken it – a la Lytro. Also you’ll be able highlight areas of the shot, soften the background, and (*sigh*) add 3D effects.
They reiterated it sporting a 5inch 1080p display w/ scratch-resistant screen along w/ a new feature within Sense 6.0 that will allow you to turn on the screen and access apps + social info by double-tapping the screen.
I just hope HTC did a great job with the camera and software additions on the final product as I’m still rooting for you guys. The 25th can’t come quick enough.
