The joys of Android allows you to alter the way your device works as a whole. Many of developers have taken advantage of this by creating many awesome apps. Another example of this is Echo Notifications.

Echo takes your notifications and better organizes them for your lockscreen. The app prioritizes your notifications in Priority, Work, or Social. They can be easily dismissed or tap on them to unlock + view it in full. You can also snooze notifications to be viewed at a later time or by location a la Mailbox. All of this while still viewing your time, date, and battery life from your lockscreen as well.
