Yesterday, the folks over at EA announced a new subscription gaming service called EA Access coming to soon to the Xbox One. In its beta phase, it will only include 4 games at first. They are: FIFA 14, Madden 25, Peggle 2, and Battlefield 4. Not only will subscribers get access to current titles, you will get early access at upcoming ones as well as the Vault which is a collection of games to play anytime.
The service will cost you $4.99 monthly or $29.99 for the year which is pretty good. EA will be working w/ GameStop to sell subscriptions as it will be available in the US, Canada, and Europe. EA Access is in beta now and will become to all One owners soon.
At the current time, don’t expect it to arrive on the PS4 as Sony thinks it’s not worth it.
