Today Instagram unveiled a new app to expand its photography app ecosystem w/ Hyperlapse. This is a separate app from the main one that will allow you to shoot professionals looking timelapse videos – all from your phone.

You just hit record and then choose the playback speed while their software will do the rest. The app will also clean up any shakiness present using their images stabilization software built into the app. At launch, it is only available for iOS as we expect it to arrive to Android + Windows Phone very soon.
