The evidence of a premium material version of Samsung’s Galaxy line is starting to pile up as photos have emerged. Dubbed the Galaxy Alpha, is rumored for an August 13th announcement. It will be a bit smaller but still aligned w/ the specs + design influences of the Galaxy S5.
Not quite the metal Galaxy we’ve been waiting for.
Other than having a more square shape to it, it is said to offer a polished, metal frame on the sides to make it a more premium feel. The Alpha is said to sport a 4.8inch 720p Super AMOLED display, powered by a new Exynos CPU, 2GB of RAM, a 4MP front-facing + 13MP rear-facing shooter, 32GB of non-expandable storage, running Android 4.4.4 KitKat w/ TouchWiz UX, and fingerprint + heart rate sensor.
